Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-28

Applies to: quiresystems.com and all software published by Quire Systems

Quire Systems builds Automation based productivity tools. We collect only the information needed to run our website and deliver the services you ask for — contact replies, appointment bookings, purchases, and account features. We do not sell your data, we do not run ad networks, and we do not share your information with third parties for marketing.

Most of our software is designed to keep your data on your device. Each app has its own detailed privacy notice — see Section 7 ("Our apps") for links.

If you want your data removed, write to support@quiresystems.com and we will delete it.

1. Who we are

This policy is published by Quire Systems ("we", "us", "our"), the company that operates the website quiresystems.com and develops the software products listed in Section 7.

For any privacy question, deletion request, or data export, contact:

Quire Systems

Email: support@quiresystems.com

2. Scope

This policy covers:

• The website at quiresystems.com and any pages we host under that domain.

• Forms, chat, appointment booking, email subscriptions, and commerce features available on the site.

• A short summary of the apps we publish, with links to each app's individual privacy notice.

It does not cover third-party websites you reach by clicking a link from ours. When you leave our site, the destination's own policy applies.

3. Information we collect through the website

Our website is hosted on GoDaddy's Websites + Marketing platform. GoDaddy provides the infrastructure that serves the pages, stores form submissions, runs the booking and commerce features, and handles the chat inbox. GoDaddy acts as a data processor on our behalf.

The categories of information we (and GoDaddy, on our behalf) may collect:

3.1 Information you actively provide

• Contact form: the name, email, phone number, and message you typed.

• Appointment booking: name, email, phone, the service you booked, your selected date/time, and any notes you added.

• Online store purchase: billing name, shipping address, email, phone, the items you bought, and order amount. Card details go directly to the payment processor — we never see or store them.

• Chat / Conversations: whatever you type in the chat, plus your name and email if you provide them.

• Email subscription: email address and (if given) name.

• Account creation (where offered): email, password (stored hashed by GoDaddy), and profile details you choose to add.

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit any page, the web server automatically receives technical information that is required to deliver the page to your browser:

• IP address

• Browser type and version, operating system, and device class

• The page you requested and the page you came from (HTTP referrer)

• Date and time of the request

• A small set of cookies described in Section 5

This data is recorded in standard web server logs. We use it to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and detect abuse.

4. How we use your information

We use the information collected through the site only for these purposes:

1. To respond to you — replying to contact-form messages and chat conversations.

2. To deliver services you requested — confirming appointments, sending booking reminders, processing and shipping orders, providing receipts.

3. To operate and secure the site — preventing abuse, debugging errors, monitoring uptime.

4. To send marketing emails — only to people who have explicitly subscribed. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.

5. To comply with the law — responding to lawful requests from regulators or courts in jurisdictions where we operate.

We do not use your information for automated profiling, advertising targeting, or sale to data brokers.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies in three categories. You can disable any of them through your browser settings; disabling strictly-necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

• Strictly necessary — keeps your session alive, remembers your cart, protects against CSRF. Examples: GoDaddy session cookies, security tokens.

• Functional — remembers preferences such as language or accepted cookie banner.

• Analytics (aggregate) — lets us see how many visitors a page receives so we can improve the site. Example: GoDaddy's built-in visitor analytics.

We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tags). If we ever add one, this policy and a cookie banner will be updated first.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only with the following categories of recipient, and only as needed:

• GoDaddy — our website host and processor. GoDaddy stores form submissions, appointment bookings, customer records, and order data on our behalf, governed by GoDaddy's own privacy commitments. See godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy.

• Payment processor — if you make a purchase, your card details are sent directly to the payment processor configured in our store (commonly Stripe or PayPal). Quire Systems does not receive or store card numbers or CVV codes.

• Email delivery provider — used to send transactional and marketing emails (operated by GoDaddy unless stated otherwise).

• Law enforcement or regulators — only when we receive a lawful request that we are legally required to comply with.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or social-media platforms for targeting purposes.

Crash reporting via Sentry is disabled in the SpectrumIQ Android apps shipped through Google Play. Sentry remains a configured option for our other products and may be re-enabled in SpectrumIQ only as an opt-in setting in a future release; if that happens, this policy will be updated first.

7. Our apps

Quire Systems also publishes the following applications. Each app has its own detailed privacy notice because each one handles data differently. This website's policy does not control what an app does — the app's own policy does.

SpectrumIQ Android apps — what each app sees and why

The SpectrumIQ family ships as five separate Google Play apps that share one codebase: Wi-Fi Analyzer, 5G Analyzer, Bluetooth Analyzer, GPS Analyzer, and Smart Compass. Each app installs only the permissions its radio actually needs. Across all five apps, no scan results, signal measurements, device identifiers, MAC addresses, location fixes, or telemetry of any kind leave the device. Everything is computed locally and rendered live on screen.

Permissions and why they are requested:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — Required by Android for every Wi-Fi or cellular scan API. Used in-app to tag Wi-Fi access points and cellular cells with their physical location for the coverage-logger / heatmap tools, drive the Compass true-north correction (magnetic declination), and display the GPS fix. Location is read live and never transmitted off the device.

• READ_PHONE_STATE / READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE (5G Analyzer only) — Used to read the active carrier name, signal strength (RSRP/RSRQ/SINR), serving cell ID, neighboring cells, and SIM operator. None of this is uploaded or shared.

• BLUETOOTH_CONNECT / BLUETOOTH_SCAN (Bluetooth Analyzer only) — Used to enumerate paired devices, detect connected peripherals, and discover nearby BLE advertisements. Device names and MAC addresses are displayed locally and never transmitted.

• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_STATE / NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES (Wi-Fi Analyzer only) — Used to enumerate access points, trigger Wi-Fi scans, and read the connection state (SSID, link speed, channel). All data stays on device.

• INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (Wi-Fi and 5G Analyzers only) — Used only when the user explicitly taps "Speed test" to measure download / upload / ping against a test server. The Bluetooth, GPS, and Compass apps do not request the INTERNET permission.

Data the SpectrumIQ apps collect from you: None. We do not have user accounts for these apps, there is no telemetry, no analytics SDK, and the apps work fully offline (except for the Speed-test feature in the Wi-Fi and 5G Analyzers, which contacts a public test server only while a speed test is actively running).

Crash reports: Crash reporting is disabled in this release. The SpectrumIQ apps do not send crash traces, stack data, or any telemetry to Sentry or any other third-party service. If a future update introduces opt-in crash reporting, it will be off by default and disclosed in an updated version of this policy.

"If you came to this page from an app's "Privacy Policy" link, the radio-specific summary in Section 7 above describes what that app collects."

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights in respect of the data we hold about you:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

• Correction — ask us to fix data that is wrong.

• Deletion — ask us to erase your data (subject to legal retention obligations, such as keeping invoices for tax purposes).

• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.

• Objection / restriction — ask us to stop or limit certain processing.

• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to us.

To exercise any of these, email support@quiresystems.com from the address associated with the data, or include enough information for us to locate your record. We will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable law (typically 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA, and as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in India).

If you believe we have mishandled your data and we have not resolved your concern, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as we need it:

• Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after the last reply, then deleted.

• Appointment records: up to 24 months after the appointment date.

• Order records: as long as required by tax and accounting law in the jurisdiction where the sale occurred (commonly 6–10 years).

• Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

• Chat transcripts: up to 12 months from the last message.

• Web server logs: up to 90 days, then aggregated or deleted.

You can ask us to delete any of the above earlier by emailing support@quiresystems.com, except where we are legally required to keep it.

10. Security

We rely on the security controls provided by our hosting platform (GoDaddy) and our payment processor, which include encrypted transport (HTTPS / TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive fields, and access controls for the dashboards we use to manage the site.

No system is perfectly secure. If you ever notice anything that looks like a vulnerability or a data leak, please write to support@quiresystems.com and we will investigate promptly.

11. Children's privacy

This website and our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA, or under 18 in India for the purposes of the DPDP Act). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International transfers

Quire Systems is based in the United States. Our website infrastructure (GoDaddy) is also based in the United States, and your data is primarily stored and processed there. If you are accessing the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Where required by law (for example, for users in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires. Material changes (new categories of data, new third-party processors, new outbound services) will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date at the top. We will not retroactively use existing data in ways that were not disclosed when it was collected.
